Coquitlam, Canada Waste Control Services Full time

Work includes the traditional fabricating shop duties such as fit, prep, cutting and welding as part of our Container Maintenance Department. Types of work include repairs for front load and roll off containers and fabrication for compactors and/or vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Producing, preparing, and fitting parts for welding.
- Operating heavy metal working machinery, equipment & hand tools.
- Experience using MIG and Stick welder.
- Majority of work will be in our facility, but some mobile work may be required with the use of a Company vehicle.
- Keep common work areas clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with other departments.
- Other duties as assigned.

To be Successful:

- Valid class 5 BCDL.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience with air & power tools; must have good cutting/fitting skills.
- Industry experience is considered a strong asset.
- Forklift experience required; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated knowledge and adherence to safety procedures.
