Aquafitness Instructor

**THE ROLE**
Under the supervision of the Community Recreation and Aquatics Coordinator, the Aquatics Instructor plans, organizes and delivers aerobics classes. They prepare class schedules, design programs and assist with the advertising and public relations.
**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High school diploma AND some years experience conducting aquafitness classes

AND

Fitness Leaders Certification - Aquafitness module

Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications

**Experience**

In planning, organizing, and delivering aquafitness classes

In monitoring and controlling large groups of participants

In ensuring safety protocols and procedures

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential
