Reporting to the Plant Manager, the production warehouse worker will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- **This is a 6-month contract position.**:
- Transferring finished product from mixing tank into proper shipping containers.
- Filling tankers, packaging drums, pails, and bulk totes from bulk storage tank or production kettle.
- Shipping/Receiving Operations, staging finished goods for shipping.
- Unloading packaged goods, verifying lot numbers, unloading/loading trucks.
- Picking, generating BOLs, PGI, arranging carrier transport, transportation planning, preparing stock transfers.
- Organize and perform inventory of all warehouse goods, operate all material handling equipment to load and unload goods.
- Keeping warehouse and production areas clean and organized at all times.
- Strong math and reading comprehension skills, basic computer skills.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to lift approx. 50 lbs.
- Experienced operating Reach and SDCB forklifts
- Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstance and new challenges.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Conscientious work ethic relating to company procedures and health & safety.
- Ability to multi-task and teamwork is a must.
Training will be provided on as needed basis.
