**Responsibilities**:
**Must have a working knowledge of Insulation, Spray foam/Thermal, Drywall, Taping, Sanding, Texture and Touch up proceedures.**
- Oversee day-to-day operations on the work sites and provide direction and support to other department staff.
- Ensure quality for each job meets Great Western Interiors standards.
- Work with the Production Coordinator to plan and forecast upcoming jobs and hire sub-trades accordingly.
- Ensure timelines are met for each job through various spot checks performed throughout the length of the job.
- Provide the operations team with proper coaching and guidance when required.
- Follow procedures to prevent problems or errors. Update and develop procedures to ensure productivity is enhanced.
- Develop ongoing and effective relationships with GWI customers.
- Enhance communications.
- Deal quickly and effectively with customer’s concerns.
- Continuously look for opportunities to innovate and improve our business processes and practices.

**Requirements**:

- Effective decision making
- Ability to lead and manage a group of staff and sub-trades.
- Understanding of basic financial concepts to understand how GWI ensures it is profitable.
- Ability to innovate and look outside to the box for creative solutions to address business issues.
- Negotiation skills to address sub-trade and customer issues in an effective manner.
- Ability to problem solve in all aspects of the industry - insulation, boarding, taping, textured/paint-grade/level 5 ceilings, sanding, spray foam and attic blow.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to provide and receive constructive advice and feedback.
- Ability to accurately count Insulation, drywall and foam for job starts.
- Previous experience as a Drywall supervisor
