The Technical Service Representative (TSR) is where it all starts. Our TSRs enjoy our team meetings, ongoing training so they can learn more and contribute their ideas to our success. Your work as a Personal Lines TSR will focus on 2 main lines of business: auto insurance and home insurance. You will contribute to a strong team and help us continue to be a significant insurance brokerage in Ontario.
**Primary responsibilities include**:
- Upload new business process renewals and endorsements on insurance company’s portals Accurately read and interpret Hits, MVR and Autoplus reports
- Understand and learn insurance companies’ portals including: Intact, Aviva, Economical, Travelers, Chieftain, Pembridge, Echelon, Pafco, Jevco among others.
- Prepare insurance quotes
- Set up pre-authorized payments and document claims information on files
- Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction internally and externally
- Perform administrative tasks and special projects if necessary: surveys, reporting, policy downloads, reconciliations etc.
**You Need**:
- Past experience in a brokerage as a TSR processing policies is an absolute must so that you can enjoy and be successful in this role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Enthusiasm dealing with customers and helping solve their problems.
