**Job Description - Retail Sales and Customer Care Associate Part-time - Pet Supply Store**

A friendly and energetic person with a passion for animals, with the following skills and experience;

  • Work experience in a retail environment (pet store experience an asset).
  • Proficiency in English with basic math skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
  • Basic Computer skills; familiarity with MAC operating system an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self starter and able to take direction
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must be able to lift and carry 30-35lbs at a time.
  • Work flexible shifts; days, evenings and weekends
  • Have a love of dogs and enthusiasm for the products sold in store
  • Welcome customers and assess their needs while ensuring high levels of service
  • Stock shelves
  • Keep a clean and presentable store front
  • Manage inventory of products sold and stay up to date on products offered
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases
  • Handle returns of merchandise and customer concerns
  • Be able to work as part of a team with and without supervision
  • Have good phone demeanour
