**Position Description**

As a POS Onboarding Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition for our customers to their new POS systems. Your primary responsibility will be to guide our clients through the onboarding process, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to use our POS (Point of Sale) technology effectively. You will be the bridge between our sales team and our customers, ensuring that expectations are met and exceeded.

US or Canada (Remote)

**Shift Options**:
1 Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm EST

2 Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:00pm EST

3 Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:00am EST

**Pay Band**

The hourly rate range for this position is $28-31/ hr CAD (Canadian Dollar) commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments.

The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.

We are seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic POS (Point of Sale) company. As an industry leader, we are committed to delivering innovative and tailored solutions that empower businesses to thrive. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our clients have a seamless and exceptional experience as they transition to our cutting-edge POS systems.

**What You will Do and Be Responsible For**
- ** Customer Onboarding**: Facilitate the onboarding process for new customers, including system configuration, setup, and training to ensure they can effectively use our POS system.
- ** Training and Education**: Conduct comprehensive training sessions, both on-site and remotely, to educate customers on the features, functionalities, and best practices of our POS system.
- ** Customization**: Work closely with clients to customize the POS system to their specific business needs, ensuring it aligns with their operations.
- ** Troubleshooting**: Provide technical support for PAR Field Service Technicians, PAR Authorized 3rd party service providers, PAR Dealers and PAR International office, PAR Peer to Peer/Self-support customers and PAR Helpdesk and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the onboarding process, escalating complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, configurations, and training sessions to ensure seamless handover to the support and customer success teams.
- ** Feedback and Improvement**: Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement in our onboarding process and collaborate with internal teams to make necessary adjustments.
- ** Product Knowledge**: Stay up to date with the latest features and updates to our POS system to effectively train customers on its capabilities.

**Why We Need You (Skill and Abilities)**
- Previous experience in customer onboarding, technical support, or a similar role, preferably in the POS or technology industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand software and hardware components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-centric attitude.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industries is a plus.
- Experience with Brink POS software and PAR hardware is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
