**Job description**

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**, Painting a variety of surfaces throughout the community as needed. General cleaning of swimming pool and surrounding surfaces. Vacuuming and cleaning of carpets and floors. Garbage removal, window cleaning, move furniture as assigned. Perform emergency maintenance repair duties such as plumbing( blocked toilets) Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations, compliance legislation and company policies and procedures. Participate in all Health and Safety, Fire Safety, infection control. Attend all staff meetings and mandatory training.

**Performance Requirements**: Follows the principles of good customer service and ensures that these values are demonstrated in day to day practices. Interact effectively with team members, residents and families as well as external service providers. Able to follow instructions and work under mínimal supervision. Demonstrates organizational and time management skills.
- **Casual Line - Every other weekend only - 8am to 4pm.**_

**Knowledge & Skills Required**: Completion of High School and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Previous related experience in maintenance, trades or construction. Good command of the English Language, oral and written.

Must be fully vaccinated (2 or more doses). TB test 2 step required, must be able to provide police check with vulnerable sector screen upon hire.

**Work Conditions**: Use sharp tools, and in potentially congested work locations. Walking, stretching and standing on a variety of surfaces for at least 3 hours per day. Lift alone or push up to 50 pounds. Bending and stooping on a regular basis. Climbing ladders and stairs. **This is an 8am to 4pm shift. Every other weekend only.**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $18.95 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
