**Requirements & Responsibilities**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Ontario Teaching Certificate (OCT) in good standing is a must.
- TESOL certificate is required.
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Curriculum and the Growing Success documents.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the varying abilities of students.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and observations, providing feedback to students and parents as necessary.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support students with special education needs or those requiring additional assistance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and behavioral issues.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Great communication skills with parents, students, and co-workers in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Creative, flexible, innovative, and positive approach to teaching.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that support students with disabilities or diverse learning needs.
- A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young minds through creative lesson delivery.
- Thrives in a positive team environment and easily adapts to new things.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
