Industrial Repair Manager

Recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, Brandt provides top quality products to its customers worldwide. As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking an Industrial Repair Manager for our new Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Travel to sites as a Brandt representative to view and obtain the scope of work required for repairs
- Work closely with customers, whether onsite or in the shop, to ensure the scope of repair work is understood and being met
- Co-ordinate repair work onsite or in the shop to meet a defined schedule
- Work closely with the Regina Industrial Repair Manager and liaise between the customers and the work being done in the shop and onsite to ensure quality and delivery commitments are being met
- Be the lead onsite directing staff and communicating with the customers
- Work hands on with staff either onsite or in the shop as the schedule and quality demands
- Co-ordinate staff, crews, and tools for site work
- Communicate with customers regarding schedules and progress
- Identify equipment and tooling requirements for the industrial repair area, both in the shop and onsite
- Work with the Operations Manager to hire and manage staff
- Coach, mentor and guide staff in the repair area so they can grow which ultimately leads to a higher quality and understanding of the work they are doing
- Identify training requirements for staff working in the industrial repair area
- Co-ordinate repair work in the shop by recognizing individual’s skills and abilities
- Other duties as assigned.
**Required Skills**:
Required Experience
- Must have experience in the Industrial Repair/Millwright trade
- Journeyperson certification is preferred but not required
- Must be able to read and understand drawings
- Needs to be familiar with 5S and Lean practices
- Ability to work independently in a busy environment as well as be a team player
- Must be self-motivated and have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Need to be highly flexible and able to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Must have solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse work environment
- Able to effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language when appropriate with all types of staff including technical, professional, and upper management
- Must have excellent time management skills and have high attention to detail.
