**Grade Foreperson**

**Grade Foreperson **will work under the supervision of a foreperson setting grades, checking elevations, dumping trucks, and working with heavy equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret construction drawings
- Use survey instruments to establish correct line and grade
- Identify any conflicts and report to site supervisor
- Work with engineers and surveyors to solve problems
- Achieve correct grade by directing operators of equipment to adjust grade by moving earth, gravel, and other materials
- Measure distances from reference points or offsets to accurately install utilities

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a Gradesperson position an considered an asset
- Valid drivers license and own mode of transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in various types of weather conditions (cold, rain, heat, etc,)
- Ability to walk long distances
- Working hours may require some weekend and evening shifts
