**Job Description**:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Signaling Testing & Commissioning Tester to join our team within the rail industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and execute testing activities for railway signaling technologies as directed by the assigned hierarchy.
- Develop and review T&C procedures for the signaling sub-system, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Follow testing procedures and documentation provided by the Sub-System Team Leader and Project Commissioning instructions.
- Adhere to testing schedules and plans, ensuring timely delivery for internal and external customers.
- Perform field tests and commissioning activities, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting customer safety expectations and project schedule.
- Accurately capture all test results and prepare technical test reports for submission to the customer.
- Collaborate with Engineering and V&V Sub-System leaders to optimize site tests and investigate testing issues.
- Utilize correct tools and equipment for electrical and mechanical test activities, ensuring proper calibration and tracking.
- Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as defined by the EHS plan and customer requirements.
- Proactively identify and report any risks identified during testing activities to hierarchical superiors and escalate EHS risks to management (PrCOM, Canada T&C Department Head, PM, TiC, etc.).
- Read, understand, and create Test Plans, Procedures, Project Progress Data Sheets (PPDS), and certificates in coordination with the T&C Leader.

**Qualifications**:

- Good knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Rail signaling industry with knowledge of USRC projects.
- Direct experience with the Metrolinx system and operating environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of rail conventional signaling (fixed block) and other signaling testing elements is considered an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, and Word).
- Experienced in interpreting engineering drawings, such as Book of Plans, Schematics, and Relay Logic.
- Experience in writing and checking test procedures, technical reports, and effective communication at Technical & Managerial Team levels.
