**Responsibilities**:
PRIMARY PURPOSE

Leads the development of project management methodologies, standards, guidelines and provides centralized project management services and advice to ensure the consistency, optimization and quality of delivery of all transit infrastructure and engineering capital projects across TransLink enterprise.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Leads the development of the project management methodologies, standards, guidelines, tools and techniques which guides the consistent and successful delivery of engineering projects throughout the enterprise. Provides a centralized training and coaching to Project Managers within the division.

Provides centralized project management services including reporting, scheduling, risk management, quality assurance, business case analysis and development, estimating, to the division to ensure proper utilization of project delivery standards and processes and continuous improve in project management practices and quality.

Provides strategic advices to Project Managers within the division on scheduling and resource management, cost management, quality management and risk management through the production of status reports/dashboard.

Presents and reports regularly to the divisional leadership team on overall project progress including cost, quality, and resources. Provides advices to senior leadership team on the opportunities to improve the consistency and successful delivery of the projects.

Develops and maintains a trusted, respectful relationships, and highly responsive interaction with internal and external stakeholders for all reporting areas.

Leads research emerging trends and leverages best practices in project management. Continuously identifies opportunities to streamline and enhance consistent and sustained project management disciplines within the division and throughout the enterprise.

Manages a team of project specialists and clerks, including selection, development, coaching, performance management, and all other people management practices.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The competencies of this position would typically be acquired through completion of University degree in Engineering and/or Business and a PMP certification is required. Requires 7 years of project management experience with a proven track record on infrastructure and engineering projects design and delivery.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Expert knowledge of the principles, theories, concepts and practices of project management.

Advanced leadership skills to drive change and promote a culture of responsibility and quality throughout the organization.

Advance interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders,

Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving skills, to resolve critical and high impact issues.

Advanced financial acumen to allow for effective planning, management, and expenditure of operational and capital costs.

Advanced time management and organization skills to balance and coordinate effort across multiple, concurrent activities.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
37.5 hours per week.

This is a full-time temporary position with an approximate end date of 05/01/2026.

**Work Designation**:
Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

**Rate of Pay**:
Salary $107,200 - $160,800 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility
