The Lead, Clinical Programs role, reporting to the Manager of Virtual Emergency Services, involves leading the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of new models of care enabled by technology. This role aims to improve health care delivery outcomes, positively impact patient and provider experiences, and demonstrate value for investment. The Clinical Transformation team, known for co-designing innovative models enabled by technology, focuses on improving equitable access to care and providing millions of patients with access to health system navigation, digital, virtual, and remote care management

Here is what you will be doing:
As the Lead, Clinical Programs, you will play a crucial role in transforming health care delivery through innovative models enabled by technology. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of new models of care that align with best practices and improve patient outcomes- Collaborating closely with internal teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure clinical models and programs align with strategic priorities-
- Engaging with Ontario Health Regions and health care organizations to increase awareness and adoption of virtual care models- Participating in external committees to continually assess and advance the delivery and quality of virtual care

Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience- Undergraduate degree in related health discipline, master’s degree in a health-related field preferred- Current registration and member in good standing with a professional regulated health care college in Ontario- 7+ years of work experience in health care setting, experience in virtual care delivery models is a strong asset- Demonstrated skills in clinical co-design, quality improvement, and change management- Experience in health system planning, and leading/enabling implementation of large-scale strategic projects- Experience in data analysis, reporting and project evaluation- Experience implementing innovative programs/projects and/or virtual care technologies in complex clinical environments- Experience in LEAN methodology for healthcare an asset

Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of Ontario’s health care system and the overarching provincial health care strategy- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to maintain a broad systems view to guide future planning and operations- Excellent organizational, decision-making, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex problems and inform leadership of potential issues and solutions- Proven ability to build, enhance, and maintain strategic relationships with health care leaders, provincial government, health service providers, and other key stakeholders
