**Job Description**:

- So, what will your new role look like?_

GSoft's Corporate Development Team, which is made up of legal advisors, strategists and business analysts, is currently looking for a new member to join as a Legal Advisor.

You will provide and support a full range of legal and risk management activities, including managing and negotiating commercial contracts independently, and become a trusted advisor to internal teams. In addition, you will help mitigate business risks and work with product teams to ensure that GSoft's software offerings comply with legal standards and customer confidentiality requirements.

From your first days on the team, you will:

- Provide legal advice to various corporate functions on a variety of legal issues, including contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, privacy and data security, and identify practical solutions to resolve problems and recommend a course of action.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements, such as software license agreements, service agreements, and vendor agreements.
- Support the company's growth activities, including the development and marketing of new products, and provide legal support adapted to the reality of exploratory development teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company-wide policies and processes to improve compliance with privacy laws and requirements.
- Propose and implement solutions that improve the efficiency or quality of legal services with a business approach and ensure that legal services meet the needs of the management team and other corporate functions. Contribute to the management, prevention and resolution of legal disputes.
- Support the transactional work of the Corporate Development team on an ad hoc basis.

**What does your future team look like?**
- You'll be joining GSoft's Corporate Development team, made up of legal advisors, strategists and business analysts. This team reports to GSoft's Head of Strategy and Corporate Development.
- The team's mission is to support the company's growth strategy by providing leading-edge professional services.
- What are the newest challenges awaiting your team?_
- To complete at least one major acquisition to diversify our existing verticals in the employee experience market.
- Implement a compliance work plan to support the company's growth and position it as a mature SaaS company.
- Support the various business units in the company's transition to a multi-product platform.

**Qualifications**:

- Member of the Quebec Bar for 3 years;
- Knowledge of applicable laws that have a significant impact on GSoft, including contract, privacy, marketing, intellectual property, and confidentiality laws;
- Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear business recommendations;
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance legal risks and business opportunities;
- Good knowledge of the information technology environment and an interest in technological innovation;
- Expert legal drafting skills in both French and English;
- Commercial contract negotiation skills;
- Good ability to collaborate on team projects and an enabling mindset;
- Good communication skills.
