Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Finchview. This is a part-time position with competitive salary.

Must be able to perform all general, OB/GYN (including IPS/NT), small parts and breasts procedures. Ability to perform MSK scans is preferred.

Hours: 1 pm - 7 pm on Thursday. More hours may be available.

Position Responsibilities:

- Responsible for patient processing, ensuring that all pertinent information is documented accurately.
- Responsible for obtaining complete patient history and ensuring that a diagnostic examination of the patient is completed.
- Responsible for conducting patient examinations in a manner that ensures the patient’s privacy and welfare are respected.
- Responsible for ensuring that all stat or unusual cases are forwarded immediately to the Radiologist.
- Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of all equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining the continuous medical education requirements necessary for CMRITO certification.

**Requirements**:

- Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Must have Personal Liability Insurance (PLI)
- Accredited college diploma preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with all aspects of ultrasound required
- Strong documentation skills required
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy required
- Ability to work independently as well as within a group environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have good teamwork and customer service skills
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $36.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
