CloudMD offers SaaS-based health technology solutions to healthcare providers across North America. - Working at Oncidium offers the opportunity to participate in the rapidly growing employer health market with the chance to create synergies and new health products and services for organizations across Canada._ **Position Summary: We are urgently in need of a highly analytical and detail-oriented “Clinical Advisor" to join our growing team of rehabilitation, disability management, and administrative healthcare professionals to work at our major client's main health centers located in Mississauga, ON**. They are a growing employer in the Independent Medical Evaluation health market specializing in P&C, IMEs, and Employer Health. The Clinical Advisor is responsible for managing client files: coordinating and reviewing assigned files to meet Cira's quality standards and our client promise. The Clinical Advisor has a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations for quality and comprehensiveness of all reports, meeting delivery expectations across multiple lines of business (including but not limited to Property and Casualty, Employer, Life and Health and Medicolegal files) and interacting daily with clients and assessors with a goal to meet client requirements. **No of Open positions**: 1 **Job Status**: Permanent, Full-Time (Approx. 40hrs / weekly) **Responsibilities**: File Review/Clinical Coordination - Clinical coordination/triage referrals for all product lines including reviewing files for clinical and technical information required to arrive at evidence-based recommendations for effective assessment pathways and teams where required. - Liaise with intake and scheduling departments to ensure logístical coordination of assessment services within appropriate specialty and geographic parameters as required to meet company and industry technical standards as well as client requirements. Report Review / Quality Assurance - Abide by company and industry technical standards as required by legislation and client requirements (e.g., CARF, SABS, Clinical College Policies, Rules of court, PIPEDA etc.) - Responsible for reviewing clinical reports and ensuring optimum report quality within all functional areas including the following: - The overall content of the report conforms with all applicable technical and legislative requirements as above - The conclusions are consistent with the report content, medical-based evidence and, and within the scope of the assessor’s expertise - Client expectations are addressed within the assessment process - Provided file documentation is reviewed and integrated within the report in an accurate and comprehensive manner - Assist with review and quality assurance of file reviews and executive summaries when required - Other duties as assigned by Clinical Director **Details of Work**: - Location of work: Mississauga, ON L4W 4P4 - Hours of Work**:Monday - Friday, office hours are from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm EST, shift timings may vary to allow for coverage during office hours - Pay range: Shall commensurate with experience. **Skills & Qualifications** **Must Have**: - Required to be a duly trained regulated health care professional, licensed by the Health Professional’s respective college (appropriate jurisdiction) or equivalent - 3 years of relevant industry experience required - **must have experience with reviewing independent medical evaluation (IME) reports**: - In-depth knowledge and understanding of industry technical standards and legislative requirements as applicable to assigned line of business (e.g., CARF, SABS, WSIB Policies, Clinical College Policies, Rules of Court, PIPEDA etc.) - Advanced proficiency within Microsoft Office platforms including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Windows Explorer **Nice to Have**: - 3 years of prior experience in a similar role preferred - Prior management experience leading teams is an asset - Proficiency within SmartSimple, eClaims and similar platforms an asset **Skill Requirements**: - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work under time constraints and competing multiple priorities - Ability to support departmental and organizational goals and objectives - Strong organizational and analytical skills Employees must be physically a
