**Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Administrator**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Conduct meetings outlining status, milestones, and requirements for deploying the SharePoint Online Document Management System (DMS).
- Create new SharePoint sites, Teams sites, lists, document libraries, and content including pages, workflows, items and maintain enterprise taxonomy, terms, and keywords for the term store.
- Lead the planning, coordinating, and delivery of relevant training and support for SharePoint end-users, super users, site owners, and administrators.
- Proactively secure and protect the SharePoint environment from internal and external threats through comprehensive permissions management, auditing, reporting, and governance policy enforcement.
- Identify and report governance violations using DLP and IRM configurations.
- Ensure the operational health of the Office 365 and SharePoint Online environment including security users’ access, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
- Design, configure, manage, and maintain comprehensive site collection, site and list level usage reports, and usability analysis.
- Responsible for the administration of Office 365; providing training and expertise on collaboration tools such as Teams, Planner, Stream and OneDrive as part of the daily workload.
- Develop, test, and implement new features in Office 365 products and services.
- Provide weekly status reports on Office 365 and SharePoint tasks and activities.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required.
- 5+ years IT related experience required.
- 3+ years of experience administering Office 365 and SharePoint Online features and solutions.
- Must possess one at least one of the following Microsoft Certificates: Office 365 Administrator Certification, SharePoint Configuration, Deploying Microsoft 365 Teamwork, Planning and Administering SharePoint 2016 (MCSE), or Advanced Technologies of SharePoint 2016 (MCSE).
- MCSA, MCSE or equivalent certifications is an asset.
- Knowledge of Azure and MDM Intune Management and Support of Office 365 integrated solutions is an asset.
- Must have experience working with Active Directory, PowerShell, and eDiscovery site collections.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 compliance controls such as DLP and RMS required.
- Must possess practical Office 365 and SharePoint Online product experience - configuring, administrating, monitoring, maintaining, developing, and deploying solutions.
- Proven experience developing SharePoint sites, site templates, pages, document libraries, and content types.
- Strong knowledge in managed metadata and taxonomy best practices.
- Must possess proficient front end/CSS skills and experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Search Service, User Profile Service, and other Service Applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with the desire to continuously learn and expand knowledge.
- Team player with a positive attitude; capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
