We are looking for an Academic Manager to help join our growing team. The Academic Manager will work closely with instructors, students, and other administrative staff under the supervision of the Campus Director/Chief Executive Officer to maintain strong communication and ensure smooth operations of day to day department activities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the academic department and its activities in collaboration with the academic team and other departments.
- Support the Campus Manager and maintain interaction with the instructors, trainers, and students to ensure smooth academic operations.
- Manage course modules, administer academic calendar, and manage the attendance records of the students and instructors.
- Manage teachers’ schedules, classroom assignments, and classroom schedules in collaboration with other academic team members.
- Manage the inventory of academic books and equipment and coordinate meetings and appointments for the academic department.
- Collect, organize, and process academic records (grades, attendance, and other records) and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in managing and controlling budgets for projects and programs in the academic department.
- Monitor the performance of academic staff, prepare their performance reports, and deliver necessary training for improvement.
- Monitor the trends in the education industry and recommend management of the potential opportunities and challenges.
- Ensure the highest level of privacy and confidentiality while handling data and information related to the organization, its staff, and students.
- Collaborate with Management and relevant departments and people to recruit and hire teachers and other academic staff.
- Participate in designing, developing, and modifying the curriculum and monitor the classroom when necessary.
- Consult with the provincial Education Board and/or licensing agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in a post-secondary education environment is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication along with the ability to multitask, and to work independently and in a team-based environment.
- Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including handling student and instructor concerns and issues, diplomacy, relationship management, patience, empathy, and listening.
