Job: Racquet Stringer

Tennis Central is a premier tennis retailer specializing in private tennis clubs in the Toronto and GTA area. Our stores offer high-performance equipment, shoes, apparel, and accessories.

We are currently looking for a racquet stringer. Stringing experience is preferred but not required, all necessary training will be provided.

Compensation & Hours
- Shop hours are Mon-Friday 9 am -7 pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am - 4pm. Tennis Central is looking for a 30-40 hour a week commitment. Shift scheduling is flexible.
- Tennis Central offers very competitive compensation starting at $15 an hour plus $2 per racquet strung. A competent stringer can string 2-3 racquets an hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Picking up and dropping off racquets from our different locations, all are within walking distance.
- Carefully and efficiently stringing tennis, squash & badminton racquets according to racquet specifications for clients and professionals
- Identify possible damage and defects to racquets and/or strings and make an assessment of the necessary corrective actions
- Repairing and replacing accessories as needed
- Spend the last 30min of each shift replacing over-grips on strung racquets
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Participating with the store team to achieve a high level of customer service, store readiness, store cleanliness, control of assets, health and safety, and compliance with Tennis Central policies.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
