**Route Sales Manager /Grease trap Service Technician**

Carleton Environmental services is a family owned and operated business located in a rural part of South Ottawa within Richmond, ON. Our clients have turned to our services for the last 60 years and counting. We are professional, qualified and insured waste management specialists and provide septic services, portable toilet rentals and grease trap services to our vast clientele.

We are currently looking to fill this role with someone who can complete the following.

**Those successful in this job have a track record which demonstrates you are able to perform in the following manor**:

- You are able to sell products and provide excellent service to all customers
- You are able to lift up to 50lbs
- You have a valid G class driver’s license. A DZ would be an asset
- You have a clean drivers abstract
- You have 3 years commercial driving experience
- You are someone known for attention to detail
- You have great communication skills
- You have working knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- You have some knowledge of QuickBooks and Smart Service

**Areas of responsibility**:

- Developing a sales strategy, including cold calling, door-to-door selling
- Maintaining relationships with our valued customers
- Driving along a designated route to sell services and calling on our regular clientele.
- Maintaining sales records and meeting sales targets, as well as presenting managers with regular updates.
- Servicing customers grease traps in restaurants, retirement homes, grocery stores, etc.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure efficient customer services, as well as resolving customer complaints

**Work week**:
Work weeks are Monday - Friday. There will be some early mornings required. Holiday Mondays or Holiday Fridays will be required for morning services.

**Compensation**:
There is a 3-month probationary timeframe and after 3-months we do offer benefits. We do supply uniforms with a weekly laundry service after 3 months of employment. Starting hourly pay is $24.00 per hour plus commission.

**Experience**:

- sales: 3 years (preferred)
