**Home Package Takeoff Estimator**:
Pacific Homes is offering a rewarding career opportunity as a Construction Takeoff Estimator. You will be responsible for accurate material takeoffs of residential and commercial wood frame construction projects.

While reporting to the Lead Home Package Estimator, the Home Package Estimator (HPE) will be responsible for assisting with the accurate, timely preparation of full-cost estimates for residential and commercial wood frame construction projects. The HPE will be tasked with preparing preliminary and final quotes for a Team of Salespeople.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Provide accurate full-cost estimates of Pacific Homes Packages for a Team of Salespeople.
- Reviews proposal specifications, architectural and structural drawings, preliminary renderings, attends salesperson meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimates and take-offs. - Assist the HPE Team for take-offs.
- Assists in the review of studies, materials and methods, recommendations, and cost estimates as required.
- Manage own scheduling and workflow, completing estimates in a timely manner, meeting deadline requirements.
- Develop and maintain SOPs for all HPE Department tasks and work with staff to continuously improve them.
- Contribute to HPE Department development projects. - Engage in cross-training within the Pacific Homes Division.
- Maintain a positive relationship with all staff using good communication skills.
- Instill strong Customer Service Policies with co-workers. - Participate in and embrace Company initiatives, continuous learning, skills development, cost of non-quality (CONQ) reduction, etc.
- Encourage and be open to ideas from your peers. - Lead by example, contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. - Assume other duties as assigned by Lead HPE.

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Residential construction knowledge or Project Coordination experience. - Ability to accurately read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Educated on current and leading industry building products. - Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to complete Pacific Homes Package Estimates. - Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to interpret job cost reports. - Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of PlanSwift or similar program(s). - Work with Home Package Design Team on Home Package Structure Component(s) design quotes.
- High degree of accuracy, strong ability to focus in an open office environment.
- Ability to assume responsibility, to interface and communicate professionally and effectively with others.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational, time-management, decision-making skills, and be self-motivated.
- Attention to health & safety of self and co-workers.
