It"s a caring team and that shows in our work" Stock Team member_ **Perks of being a school bus driver**: - Training is provided at no cost to you. - Extra hours available. - Safety Meetings / Employee Engagement events. - No evenings or weekends. - You will be paid a minimum of 4.75 hours per day up to a maximum of the time scheduled for the route. **What you bring to the bus**: - Cheerful and positive demeanor, with a “can-do" approach. - Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must possess, or be able to obtain, a valid provincial Class B Driver"s License. - Must have a clean Drivers Abstract, clear Criminal Background check and Vulnerable Sector Check. - Your willingness to make a difference in a child"s day every day. **Responsibilities**: - Report for work on-time at 6:45 a.m. for the morning shift and 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon. - Zonar Pre-trip every time you are assigned a vehicle you have not driven in a 24 hour period. - Cover any route provided by dispatch using any vehicle assigned by dispatch. - Fuel and clean the buses when necessary. **Applicants will be merited based on safe driving record, experience, reliability, and temperament. Positions will be filled based on availability and we welcome all qualified applicants. Applicants who meet the requirements of the position will be contacted for an interview.
