**About your next Challenge as a Intermediate Warehouse Technician, Enfield Site**:
**Overall Summary**:
Developing support individual contributor. Works under general supervision. Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations.

**Nature of Supervision**:
Works under general supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided and moderate peer review is required.

**Communication & Influence**:
Communicates with contacts typically within the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement.

**Innovation & Complexity**:
Work is less structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution.

**Organization Impact**:
Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has some impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is somewhat limited in scope, typically on smaller, less structured task-related activities.

**What You Will Do**:

- Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.
- Within parameters, determines routing and arrangements for shipments, considering such factors as nature of items being shipped, method of handling, size, urgency, and cost.
- May reroute urgent shipments of an urgent nature or arrange for special delivery at destination.
- Prepares and maintains records of products shipped and tracks shipments.
- Receives incoming materials, unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
- Maintains records of received goods, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents.
- Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
- Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc. upon receipt of internal certification.
- Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
