Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. **Duties**:

- Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes or residential facilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and organizing the client's living space
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assistance with activities
- Ensuring clients take their medications as prescribed by reminding them of dosage schedules and assisting with medication administration if required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

**Skills**:

- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with nursing home or assisted living facility procedures is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
- Good time management and organizational skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $23.55-$24.65 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
