Cirque-ability is an aerial and acrobatic circus gym located in the west end of Toronto.We offer classes, camps and parties for age 1 to adult. We look for staff who are fun, friendly, energetic and positive. You must love to work with children and have an interest in being a part of a dynamic coaching team

**Preferred Availability & Details**
- July 2nd - Aug. 29th Weekdays 8:45am-4:15pm

**General Responsibilities include**:

- Ensuring that each camper is safe, has fun and participates
- Leading the children through various activities throughout the day including your area of speciality.
- Planning & leading age appropriate activities for campers based on the rotation schedule.
- Participating in theme/spirit days
- Practicing risk management and ensuring that the space is set up properly prior and during each activity
- Ensuring the space is tidy at the end of the day and that lunches, crafts, equipment, etc. has been cleaned up.
- Supervising and keeping campers safe at our gym and on any excursions to splash pads, park and other places
- Engaging with parents at pick up and drop off times
- Mediating conflicts between campers or parents and reporting issues to gym management
- Enforcing Cirque-ability policies, rules and camp guidelines
- Treating campers, parents and co-workers with respect at all times
- Contributing in a positive way to our gym's positive, inclusive and friendly culture.
- Completion of incident reports, camp logs, and staff evaluations in a timely manner.
- Reading staff guidelines and instructions and following all protocol.

**Aerial Coach Role also includes**:

- Instructing children on Silks, Trapeze and/or Hoop and progressing them through our level system.
- Creating routines and acts for the weekly end of camp show for parents and friends.

**Required Qualifications/Experience**:

- Experience instructing Aerial Silks, Trapeze or Hoop (Specify which disciplines you can teach and at what level)
- Experience working with groups of children in a instruction or camp setting.
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (red cross, lifesaving society or St John's Ambulance)
- Current Police Check (Required by successful applicants.)
- NCCP gymnastics foundations (preferred)

**Job Perk**:
Cirque-ability team members are eligible to participate in open gym training and free drop-in classes (space permitting). This is a great way to build your acro or aerial skill set over the summer

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
