**Inside Dismantler Accountabilities**

**Ensure daily production targets are met**

**Ensure inspection of all parts previously entered in Inventory**

**Ensure parts are tagged accurately and located**

**Ensure work areas H&S criteria is followed**

**Work ordered part removed and prepped for delivery ASAP**

**Inside Dismantler Job Description**

**The inside dismantler is responsible for properly depolluting a vehicle, inspecting and removing all parts from a vehicle according to the dismantling report. The “Warehouse” (W) status parts are to be drained, cleaned, tagged and placed in the designated so they may be located in the warehouse. The “Unbolted” (U) parts are to be inspected, removed and placed in the vehicle in a way that they will not be damaged and can easily be found. The “Yard” (Y) parts are to be inspected and left attached to the hulk.**

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- **Knowledge of the ARA Damage codes**:

- **Skilled in removing automotive parts and have the necessary tools to do so**:

- **Knowledge of Fluid recovery systems and their operations**

**Experience and Education**
- **High School Diploma**:

- **Minimum of one-year experience working on cars and light trucks**:

- **Driveline experience a must**

**Responsibilities**
- **Dismantle vehicles according to the dismantling flow**:

- **Tag all parts accordingly once inspected**:

- **Drain all fluids properly and store accordingly**:

- **Insure H&S standards are maintained**

**Job Procedures**
- **Bring Vehicle into Dismantling Area**:

- **Insure the vehicle is placed safely on the hoist**:

- **Drain all the fluids**:

- **Inspect the parts to be removed according the Dismantler's report**:

- **Tag parts and place in the designated**:

- **Remove tires from rims and core or stock according the quality standards**:

- **Remove all weights, valve stems and wheels sensors from core aluminum wheels**:

- **Once vehicle is completed, clean your work area**:

- **Remove Vehicle from DIsmantling Area and properly locate**:

- **Insure any work ordered parts on the Dismantler's report are prepped for delivery according to the delivery requirements**

**Engines and Transmissions**:

- **Remove all hoses and electrical connectors**:

- **Remove any damaged parts**:

- **Properly clean transmission and Electrical Connectors**:

- **Pan removed, Filter removed, and pan wiped out**:

- **Debris wiped off magnet**:

- **Clean any spills that occur in this process**

**Body Panels and Lights**:

- **Unbolt panels required**:

- **Ensure completeness**:

- **Handle with care as to not damage**:

- **Ensure inventoried description matches current description**

**Salary to be based on experience and performance**

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
