Arena Attendant

The City is committed to the professional development of our staff and invite you to come, grow with us Reporting to the Supervisor of Arena Operations, the Arena Attendant will be responsible moving nets, cleaning dressing rooms, sweeping stands and bleachers, timekeeping, skate patrolling, snow removal and assisting with any Special Events. This position requires the incumbent to be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the facility and will comply with all health and safety practices as it relates to the work, standard operating guidelines and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It is important to keep up to date on all facility activities, programs and service. The hours of work are scheduled in advance and include evenings, weekends and holidays. **QUALIFICATIONS** - Possess excellent communication & customer service skills, with the ability to work with mínimal supervision - Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with a level "C" CPR must be submitted prior to commencing employment - A current Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the past 3 months) must be submitted for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment **WAGE/SALARY RANGE**: $17.48 per hour (up to 24 hours per week) **Our organization is committed to promoting the independence, dignity, integration, and equality of opportunity of persons with disabilities by ensuring the accessibility of our facilities and services.
