Billyard Insurance Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) to join our growing team at Head Office in Welland. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work with the People & Culture Department to support our branch offices in the recruitment of Insurance Brokers as well as recruit individuals to support the growth at Head Office.
**What does the Talent Acquisition Specialist do?**
- Work closely with our Managing Partners to identify their recruitment needs
- Communicate & sell the value propositions of why BIG is the employer of choice for many Insurance Brokers
- Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations across Canada

- A high level of professionalism especially when communicating with branch partners
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
- Comfortable making decisions independently
- Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems
**Qualifications**:
- 3 years of recruitment experience preferably in a corporate setting
- Sales experience an asset
- Experience in the Insurance or Finance Industry an asset
**Required education**:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field an asset
