**Job Summary**:
You will work within the multi disciplinary team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Physician and Administrative Staff and assist clients with return to work. You may work in the Post Concussion Management Program (PCMP), Comprehensive Head Injury Program (CHIP), Mental Health Return to Work Program, and InFocus Psychological Services. Clinical duties include evidence - based assessment and rehabilitation services for clients who have sustained a variety of work
- related and/or neurological injuries and conditions.
**Your work will include**:
- Conducting assessments by performing interviews with clients and functional assessments to determine baseline function and to identify return to work barriers.
- Writing stand alone or interdisciplinary reports in a timely manner as outlined in the appropriate program contracts and maintaining weekly program notes to document client interaction and progress.
- Formulating and progressing active rehabilitation plans including goal orientated exercise and work simulation programs which assist clients prepare for returning to work.
- Assisting client in progressing exercises as needed, while encouraging independent management of program.
- Providing daily supervision and support to clients to implement and progress exercise and stretching programs as well as work simulation programs.
- Liaising with treatment team (Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Psychologists, Physicians) to provide coordinated care to clients and to overcome barriers to rehabilitation and return to work.
- Developing education schedule and scheduling clients for appointments with other team members.
- Other duties as required as a Kinesiologist
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- At least one year experience working with people with head injuries;
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics or equivalent degree.
- A member in the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) or eligible for membership
