The Labourer/OFA (Occupational First Aid) will be a vital part of our project team. This is a general position and may not be specific to this site as they may be at Langley Arena or elsewhere (but will need to be flexible depending on work). This individual will be responsible for general labouring duties and first aid responsibilities on-site. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multi-tasking environment and enjoys engaging in various aspects of a project. Flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this position.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with the site teams to carry out duties such as manual labour, cleaning, preparing sites, cleaning up rubble and debris, remove waste materials, load and unload construction materials, operate hand tools as directed, performing dewatering duties tending to pumps, installing and maintaining temp lighting.
- Provide on-site first aid as the designated OFA Level 2/3 attendant, ensuring the health and safety of all team members.
- Support the project team with additional duties as needed (Such as traffic control), demonstrating a proactive attitude toward completing tasks efficiently.
- Utilize or learn to use a variety of tools and equipment, including carpentry tools if required.
- Operate equipment and perform for which tickets are held (e.g., Forklift, hoist operation) or are willing to obtain necessary certifications (training provided by Lark Group).
- Maintain, clean, and secure all equipment and property as directed.
- Uphold and promote a safe working environment in line with Lark Group’s safety standards.

**JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum OFA Level 2 certification (Level 3 preferred).
- Previous experience in a construction environment is an asset but not mandatory.
- Additional certifications such as flagging, hoist operation, or confined space entry are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing or walking throughout the day.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn basic carpentry and the use of various tools.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am - 5 pm, with occasional adjustments to meet project demands.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
