**Job Summary**
As the QA Inspector, you will be responsible for activities relating to:
- Inspection and sampling of raw materials, bulks, finished products, packaging components and purified water
- Management and shipping of samples to the internal and external laboratories
- Management and utilization of the Truscan equipment
**Working Conditions**
Work in the warehouse, sampling rooms and the office.
Part-time (21 hours): Saturday & Sunday - 8:00am - 7:30pm (start time can be flexible)
The initial training period for this role will take place during the regular work week (Monday - Friday).
**Responsibilities & Duties**
- SAMPLING & INSPECTION_
- Conduct sampling and inspection of raw materials, bulks, packaging components, controlled products, finished products and the purified water system.
- Prepare the samples and the analysis requisitions for shipment to internal & external laboratories.
- Manage the requests for the re-analysis of the bulks.
- Conduct the physical identification tests.
- Conduct the system transactions associated with sampling.
- Manage the Truscan system and the related approvals /authorizations.
- Ensure that sampling rooms and equipment are in compliance.
- QUALITY SYSTEMS_
- Work actively with the Departments in the handling of non-compliance cases.
- Handle non-compliance cases related to the inspection.
- Participate actively when external client audits take place and follow-up on Action Plans.
- Maintain the retention zone.
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT_
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
**Skills, Knowledge & Abilities**:
- DEC or AEC
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function (within the pharmaceutical industry)
- Excellent communication in French (written and spoken) and Professional level in English as the incumbent will have to communicate with suppliers located outside the province of Quebec.

**Education**: Preferred
