We are looking for personnel who will be responsible for performing polysomnography (diagnostic or therapeutic) on patients with various sleep disorders.

**Role Summary**

The Polysomnographic Technologist works closely with patients and ensures the appropriate performance of all procedures relating to the accurate, safe operation of all diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnographic services provided by our clinic.

**What do we expect from you**?
- You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing patient information, testing preparation procedures and polysomnographic procedures, and assisting in lab maintenance.
- You will be required to be available to work shift work, on weekends, evenings, and nights.
- You will need to review documentation provided by the referring physician and explain the procedure and orient the patient to the sleep lab and answers the patient’s questions.
- Assisting with appropriate interventions, disconnecting equipment from the patient, and cleaning the same for upcoming use.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Schedule**
- 10.5 hour shift
- Night shift

**What will you bring to Accq Sleep labs**?**
- A Post-secondary degree/ diploma, or in process of completing, background in health science is preferred.
- A CPR certification.
- A well-developed problem-solving skills.
- An ability to work independently, show initiative, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, leadership and organizational skills, and interpersonal and time management skill.
- The knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide age-specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
