Clinical Informatician

Your Opportunity:
Join the Pharmacy Informatics team as a Subject Matter Operational Readiness Expert (SMORE). Reporting to the Informatics Manager, you will lead decisions on configuring technology related to medication data, including EPIC; you may also be involved in leading work and/or decision related to Pharmacy Connect. This role involves investigating informatics issues, collaborating with analyst teams and clinicians, and developing innovative solutions. Key skills required include effective communication, strong interpersonal abilities, creative problem-solving, and adaptability. Work hours are generally during weekdays, but occasional shifts outside these hours may be required. The position is remote, so you can work from any location across AHS. Although posted for an Edmonton site, remote or hybrid work is acceptable.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of bachelor's degree in a health related field. Active registration with the applicable professional association or college.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Diploma from accredited Pharmacy Technician program or bachelor’s degree in health-related discipline, active registration as a Pharmacy. Technician with Alberta College of Pharmacy. Current/recent work experience as a pharmacy technician in Alberta Health Services and/or Covenant Health Pharmacy is required.
