**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide direct support and supervision to children in a classroom setting.
- Implement educational activities that promote learning and development in alignment with early childhood education standards.
- Assist children with disabilities in their daily routines and learning activities, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff to create a welcoming environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and caregivers to develop individualized plans for children’s growth and development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

**Requirements**:

- Valid **BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate**:

- Current **First Aid Certificate**:

- **Clear Criminal Record Check** (specific to the child care sector)
- **Classroom experience** in early childhood settings preferred
- **Experience working with individuals with disabilities** is highly desirable
- Demonstrated **teaching skills** with the ability to actively engage and inspire young children
- **Background in Early Childhood Education or a related field** is considered an asset
- Prior **experience in caregiving roles** with children is beneficial
- **Strong communication and interpersonal skills**, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- A **genuine passion** for fostering children’s growth and development through **play-based learning**

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
