Airport Operations Specialist

Alpha Aviation Inc. is looking for **Line Service Agents** to support the upcoming growth

and increased aviation traffic at the Boundary Bay Airport, located in Delta, BC.

As a Line Service Agent, you are the company’s primary provider of aircraft services.

Line Service Agent positions encompass providing Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services

to customers, ramp management and administration, and fuel concession. This position

utilizes industry standard training to service both general aviation aircraft and private or

commercial aircraft alike and requires working in a fast-paced environment in all
- weather conditions to provide excellent service in a safe and timely manner. A

professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fuel concession operation and maintenance, which includes the sale of avgas, jet fuel and aircraft oil, preventative maintenance of all fleet trucks as well as the fuel storage facility and quality control of fuel products to industry standards.
- FBO ramp services, which includes aircraft lavatory services, de-icing, marshaling,GPU services, baggage handling, and additional services.
- Greet flight crews and passengers on arrival.
- Welcome and assist all customers in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner over the phone and in person.
- Maintain a professional level of communication with colleagues and co-ordinate the flow of information internally with other departments and organizations.
- Accept and process checked baggage weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Perform maintenance of FBO hangar facilities
- Any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Operations or their designate.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the Lower Mainland.
- High school diploma or completion of GED.
- Work experience in aviation or fuel concession is highly valued.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment in all-weather conditions.
- A self-starter with a customer service-oriented attitude and a high attention to detail.
- Highly safety conscious and able to adhere to and follow safety protocols.
- A reliable form of transportation to commute to and from work, as transit is
- sometimes unreliable for early morning and late-night shift work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
- Able to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable working four days of 10-hour work shifts in a row.
