**Position description**

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Controller for Canada and Europe is responsible, with his team of analysts, for all aspects of the financial operations of his group of companies located in Canada and Belgium. In collaboration with the group's financial analysts, the Financial Controller oversees:

- The preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for each entity;
- The preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for the parent company, centralized treasury and internal management;
- Month-end closings and analysis of accounts;
- Monthly analysis of operating results and balance sheet;
- Maintenance of global financial controls and company policies;
- Allocations, charges and reconciliations between companies and shared services;
- Tax compliance, including income and sales taxes;
- Annual budget preparation process, in collaboration with management and other team members;
- Annual external audits and bank audits, as required;
- Relationships with and support of operations and other organizational personnel;
- Financial analysts located in Canada (Candiac, Quebec) and Belgium;
- Workflow organization and development of financial processes and reporting.

**Your profile**
- CPA designation;
- 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment;
- Self-starter, quick learner, hands-on approach to tasks and supervision, detail-oriented, practical and results-driven;
- Good leadership and supervisory skills, preferably from a previous supervisory role;
- Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills;
- Fluency in French and English (oral and written);
- Strong Excel skills and ability to adapt to ERP systems;
- Flexibility to travel on occasion
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, with a flexible approach to task completion.
