IQ 2000 Trivia is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to fill a tech support position. We operate a number of trivia shows in bars, pubs, and restaurants in the Vancouver area, and when technical support is needed with the presentation hardware and software, you will be called upon to set up, troubleshoot, advise, and sometimes install equipment. This includes both initial setup at new venues (generally scheduled during daytime), as well as assisting our trivia hosts with unfamiliar setup processes as needed (weekday evenings).

**Qualifications**
You have experience with Audio Visual presentation equipment (i.e. audio mixing boards, XLR and wireless microphone, HDMI display), consumer laptops (Windows and Mac), and Microsoft PowerPoint.

You're a natural problem solver able to evaluate, diagnose, test, and solve tech issues in a variety of settings. You are familiar with AV products and brands, and can make product recommendations within a given budget.

You are a good communicator, and able to explain technical setup processes to our trivia hosts, as well as create clear step-by-step written instructions for AV setup processes.

You are broadly available most weekday evenings.

Access to a car (or a car share) is a big asset. We have a number of venues throughout Metro Vancouver, as far as Surrey, Coquitlam, etc. which you may be required to travel to.
