- **Role Summary**:_

Chubb Fire & Security has an opportunity for a Security Technician Level 2 in the Service Department who possesses good working knowledge of Electronic Security programs and systems.
- **Key Job Responsibilities**:_
- Coordinate, Service, install and program systems (Intrusion, access control, CCTV & Intercom) as per the customer’s specification
- Positive teamwork in conjunction with management, existing technicians, subcontractors, and clients on job sites
- Mandatory on-call rotation for after-hours, weekends and holidays
- Perform Service work, ULC Inspections, Installations, Verification duties as assigned by the Security Coordinators
- Coordinate with Sales Representatives and Security Coordinators for any deficiencies and assist
- Work to meet project estimation and deadlines
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required
- Frequent out of town travel is a requirement of the role
- Must be able to take on call on rotational basis
- Must be able to follow company EH&S Policy
- **Educational /Technical Requirements**:_
- Basic Alarm Industry Certification (CANASA) or Relevant Industry Experience or Electronics Technician/ Computer technician College Diploma.
- Knowledgeable in computer networking, with computer training designations/certification
- Security Industry product manufacturer Certification would consider as asset
- Basic understanding of electrical code and requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a similar role
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Bondable
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and self-motivated
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communications skills
- Security Industry product manufacturer Certification
- Understanding of building design and codes
- Adaptable to changing environments
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and presentations
