Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor entrances, exits, and crowd movement
- Verify identification and enforce age restrictions
- Maintain a safe environment by preventing and de-escalating conflicts
- Conduct regular patrols and sweeps of the venue, including restrooms and secluded areas
- Assist in emergency situations and follow safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue rules and regulations
- Work closely with venue staff and management to ensure smooth operations

Minimum Requirements:

- Valid Basic Security Training (BST) License - BC
- Minimum 1 year of experience in event security or nightclub security
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- Availability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation (own vehicle preferred) as late-night public transit is not available

Preferred Assets (Not Mandatory):

- First Aid / CPR certification
- Experience in high-volume nightclub environments
- Additional security training or certifications

Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage (based on experience)

Opportunities for additional shifts at special events and concerts

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
