Part-time Housekeeper

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor / Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Cleans and services assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards of the Staybridge Suites.
- Clean all assigned guestrooms including dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, and replenishing rooms with supplies.
- Clean all bathrooms including all surfaces, sinks, taps, vanities, tubs, showers, walls, and toilets.
- Removal of trash and recyclables from guestrooms.
- Check all suites after cleaning to ensure that everything is in place.
- Check all light fixtures are in place and working.
- Check if the TV working/remote is in the proper place with batteries.
- Report any room unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the supervisor.
- Update and record all cleaned rooms.
- Responds to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a friendly and timely, and efficient manner and ensures satisfactory follow-up. Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Maintains linen storage and supplies neat and organized to department standards
- Maintains security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day.
- Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress
- Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Return and properly tag all lost and found articles to the Manager. Under no Circumstances no item would be taken out of the hotel without the permission of the Supervisor / Manager.
- Report necessary maintenance items on the task assignment & if urgent to be informed to Front Desk.
- Cell phones are not to be carried along during work hours. To be placed in the office can be used during break hours.
- Need to follow timings for start and end of shifts, Break timings.
- Other duties as assigned.
