The Marriott Château Champlain is a 1-minute walk from the metro, accessible through an underground passage adjacent to the Bell Centre and also via 1000 De La Gauchetière. This iconic Montreal hotel, with its 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, and 25 meeting rooms, was completely renovated in 2021 and can accommodate up to 1000 guests. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the Houseperson is in charge to ensure that the hotel rooms, common areas, and equipment are clean and in good working order.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform cleaning of common areas, hallways, and other designated areas to established standards.
- Change bedding and towels in hotel rooms and suites.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Ensure cleaning products are used safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
- Clean windows and mirrors in hotel rooms and common areas.
- Empty trash cans and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately.
- Report necessary repairs and replacements to the Head Housekeeper.
- Adhere to hotel safety policies and emergency procedures.
- Adhere to deadlines for cleaning work.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- Knowledge of cleaning methods and products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team or independently.
- Attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
- Good physical condition to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift.
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of English is an asset.

**Language**: French proficiency is required. Any other spoken languages are an asset.
