We’re looking for an ambitious and hard-working professional to join our Quality team in the role of **Quality Assurance Label Coordinator**

**As a Quality Assurance Label Coordinator, you will.**
- Promote positive safety culture through participation and adherence to HSE programs
- Promote positive working relationships with all departments
- Act as an ambassador for regulatory and process compliance
- Participate in self-inspection process
- Ensure all labels generated comply to current Cannabis Regulations and in-house specifications
- Ensure all secondary packaging generated complies to current Cannabis Regulations and in-house specifications
- Work closely with Quality Control to ensure all 3rd party lab results are reviewed and product potencies and packaged on dates are verified prior to approving labels
- Initiate Master Label Approval form
- Receive and approve labels and secondary packaging materials
- Ensure proper use of quarantine and hold where required on product/material and update the Inventory tracking system
- Work closely with QA Auditors or equivalent to ensure secondary verification of labels and secondary packaging material
- Manage label storage and organization and reconciliations of labels
- Issue batch record and labels to production
- Generation, implementation, and continuous improvement of Quality procedures relating to label process
- Participation in external and internal audits as required
- All other duties as assigned.

**You would be the best fit for this role if you have**
- 1-2 years' experience in the Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Field
- Degree or diploma in a science related field, or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems including batch record review, batch release, document control, change control, deviations, investigations and CAPA
- Fluency in MS Office is mandatory
- Competency of technological writing (SOPs, Annual Reports, Investigation Summary)
- Ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt to an evolving environment
- Ability to both speak and write clearly in English
- Experience working in a regulated environment, pharmaceuticals, or natural health product manufacturing environment is preferred
- Knowledge of cannabis regulation and working experience in Cannabis industry is an asset

- This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure
