Commercial Tire Technician

Overview:
**Fountain Tire Westlock, **an established automotive repair shop, is looking for responsible, safe and dedicated associates to join our team as
**a Commercial Tire Technician**.

**Pay: $18-$24/hour**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Install, balance, and rotate passenger, light truck, medium truck tires and wheels
- Complete and maintain a variety of safety courses including Whimis, TIA, Rim Safety course, and Customer Experience Standards
- Reset and Repair tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Maintain tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
- Complete specialty tire work, which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road, site or field

**Working conditions**:

- A team environment where hard work, concise communication and clear heads are rewarded
- Consistent lifting of weights of approximately 25KG is required
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
- This role requires nearly constant standing, crouching or kneeling

**Qualifications**:

- Someone with previous experience would be great, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a good attitude
- A valid driver's license is a must. We also need to see that you are responsible on the road by providing a satisfactory driver's abstract
- Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
- A team player who takes pride in their work
