**Bilingual Life Insurance & Annuity Claim Examiner - Death Claims (bilingual English & French)**:
**Essential Job Functions**:

- ** Claims Processing**: Validate coverage, confirm beneficiaries, and review and decision inbound requirements.**:

- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Correspond with agents, beneficiaries, and other departments regarding contracts, facilitating the receipt of outstanding requirements.**:

- ** Compliance and Accuracy**: Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within the timeframe considered suitable.**:

- ** Fraud Detection**: Report any potential fraudulent, money laundering, or unethical requests that have been reviewed.**:

- ** Customer Service**: Provide elite customer service via letters or phone calls made internally or externally.**:

- ** Process Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer and team member experience.**:

- ** Support and Audits**: Provide support for after-claim audits and assist on special projects as needed.**:
**Experience and Qualifications**:

- ** Education**: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience**:

- ** Experience**: 5 years of relevant Life Insurance business experience**:

- ** Skills**:

- ** Bilingual proficiency in English and French**:

- ** Demonstrated ability to quickly learn Servicing Systems.**:

- ** Strong understanding of the Life Insurance (and Annuity industry).**:

- ** Comprehensive knowledge of various policy types and their impact on claims.**:

- ** Accounting knowledge is highly desirable.**:

- ** Exceptional written and oral communication skills.**:
