Strategic Project Manager (8-Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Project Leadership
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of key organizational projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, establish clear deliverables, and define performance metrics to track progress.
- Proactively manage risks, address challenges, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful outcomes.
Process Optimization and Systems Integration
- Assess and streamline existing processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and alignment with long-term goals.
- Support the integration and optimization of new tools, technologies, or workflows into existing business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are implemented effectively with mínimal disruption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners to drive alignment and accountability.
- Facilitate effective communication between departments, ensuring all teams are informed and working toward shared goals.
- Support knowledge transfer and documentation to maintain organizational learning and project sustainability.
Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement in processes, systems, and resource allocation.
- Lead post-initiative reviews to capture insights and establish best practices for future projects.
Reporting and Accountability
- Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory standards, and project governance requirements.

Qualifications:
**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field. PMP certification or similar credentials are highly desirable.
**Experience**:
- 5+ years of experience managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement, change management, and systems integration.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes, identify gaps, and implement solutions.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; French is an asset.
- Ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams, including remote and distributed workforces.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
Other Requirements:
- Based in Lower Mainland, BC, with occasional travel as required.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
