Our Strength is People.” is a true expression of our belief that our people are our competitive advantage. **2025 Summer Student** **Painting, Housekeeping, Support Services and Plant Stores** **Background**: - Entry level work station roles- General housekeeping- Painting- Administrative and data entry duties- Packaging- Shipping/Receiving support- Dispatching tasks **Responsibilities**: - Adhere to and fulfill all employee responsibilities set out in the ArcelorMittal Dofasco Health & Safety Policy/Program.- Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of production facilities and assets.- Participate in daily production activities.- Actively participates as a member of the team.- Operate and handle a variety of hand held tools and materials.- Provide administrative support and data entry activities.- Perform internal duties as dictated within the department requirements.- Support safety and good housekeeping practices.- Support department goals and objectives. **Criteria for Selection**: - Currently enrolled in full-time studies at a university or college and returning to school full-time in September 2025.- Must be at least 18 years of age.- Must be available to work full time until end of August 2025.- Preference will be given to those students enrolled in post-secondary education closest to graduation and who have not previously worked at ArcelorMittal Dofasco as a Summer Student.**Students currently in high school and attending post-secondary in September**are not** eligible to apply.**- Students who have previously worked at ArcelorMittal Dofasco as a Summer Student are eligible to apply. **Applicants must be able to**: - Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (Safety glasses, steel toed boots, hard hat, respirator, hearing protection, long sleeves and long pants).- Work at elevated heights.- Climb ladders and stairs.- Occasional heavy lifting.- Use various hand tools.- Work indoors and outdoors in elevated temperatures and humidity.- Work in environments that may be dusty and noisy. **Hours of Work**: - Majority of positions will require students to work:_ **- 8.5-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) OR** - Select few positions may require:_ **- 10.5-hour day shifts, Monday to Thursday (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)** **Application Requirements**: - Resume
