Broom / Bobcat Operator

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for completing daily equipment checklist
- Maintain alertness at all times
- Able to work overtime hours when required
- Must be able to write, read, and communicate effectively in English
- Experience with safety regulations and safe practices
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have a valid class 5 (or better) driver’s license with a clean driver abstract
- Must own reliable transportation to travel to Crossfield
- Must be able to communicate well with co-workers
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
- Ability to work cooperatively, independently, and with a team in a fast-paced and complex environment
- CSTS, First Aid Certifications
- Be able to work away for extended periods
- Previous road construction experience is considered an asset
- Willingness to assist with other tasks as needed (manual labor, etc.)

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to drive for long periods of time
- Construction season runs approximately until November

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 3-4 months

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (required)
