Plant Loader Operator-night Shift

ETL is looking for a motivated Plant Loader Operator with proven experience to join our team.

The Site Plant Loader Operator works under the direction of the Designated Supervisor, any assigned Supervisors and works with other Employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered to.

Main responsibilities will include; Ensure constant supply of soil stock is fed into the feed hopper in required quantity, clean material is transferred to the designated pile on transfer pad, operating the water truck and other equipment for general plant clean up.

The Plant Loader Operator will work closely with facility staff to create a positive and safe working environment, be a resource to Management and Facility Staff for health and safety information and promote health and safety programs in the workplace.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years’ front end loader experience
- Competency will be evaluated prior to employment offer
- License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Air brake ticket/certificate preferred
- Language: English
- Must be reliable, production critical position
- Must be able to wear a respirator when working outside of machinery/equipment
- Keep soil feed hopper full at Plant
- Scrape out feed hopper with hand scrapers throughout shift when needed
- Pre-mix and layout soil with loader before putting in hopper
- Remove clean soil from Plant and place in designated pile on transfer pad
- Keep piles neat and organized
- Operation of water truck to control dust
- Operation of other small equipment for general plant clean-up (skid steer, mini excavator, track loader)
- Complete pre-use inspections on all equipment and report deficiencies
- Complete necessary daily safety paperwork
- Communicate with tower operator about feedstock quality
- Any other duties assigned by Manager or Supervisor/s

**What We Offer**

An hourly wage between $30.00 to $32.00.

Employee will be under an AVG Agreement with Overtime. The Bi
- Weekly wages may range between $3000.00 to $3136.00 depending on hours worked.
