**Role and Facility Information**:
Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary perinatal service in beautiful Powell River, BC. We are seeking a general practitioner with particular interest and skillset in full scope primary obstetrical care. We would welcome urgent locum coverage but are also recruiting for long term permanent positions.
Powell River Hospital is developing a new and exciting full service perinatal program with the local support and collaboration of our obstetrician/gynecologist, family doctors, midwifery, nursing, and lactation consultation. Come be a part of this important, exciting work which is integral to optimizing and retaining rural perinatal services
Although the expectation would be provision of primary obstetrical care, there is also the option to combine this work with general fee for service family practice/hospitalist work in one of the community clinics and in hospital.
